Overview
The Parent Partner (PP) provides information and referral, case management, informal support, and education services to parents whose children are receiving public services for mental health related issues. As a member of the treatment team, the PP works toward improving the treatment outcomes of children's mental health services. The PP informs families about process rights, services, resources, trainings, community support systems, peer mentors and educational resources available. This position works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement. Regular, predictable attendance is considered an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule. Collaborate with the treatment team to improve treatment outcomes for children’s mental health services.
Share information about process rights, services, resources, trainings, community support systems, peer mentors and educational resources available to families.
Qualifications Education
Required: High School diploma or GED equivalent.
License
Required: Current and valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Experience
Preferred: A minimum of one year of experience providing advocacy, education and support services to families who are accessing public services for a child due to mental health related issues.
Preferred: Bilingual.

8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM, 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Compensation & Benefits
Salary:
$23.03 per hour, plus an additional 10% crisis stipend. Position may be eligible for an additional shift differential pay: Second Shift $3.25/hour; Third Shift $7.25/hour; Weekend Shift $8.00/hour.
