Director - Perinatal Services at Seattle Children's. Collaborate with Seattle Children's and University of Washington Department of Fetal Surgery leadership, Medical Director MFM and OB Services, Perioperative Services, Nursing to oversee, assess and enhance the provision of patient care services in the Perinatal Care Unit on a 24/7 basis to meet continuous quality improvement, customer service, program growth and support the mission of Seattle Children's Hospital. The perinatal director is responsible for the day-to-day clinical nursing functions of the Special Perinatal Unit and Services. Accountable for support development of nursing care model for patients undergoing special delivery service. Develop, implement and monitor staffing plans, scheduling and staff development to meet current and anticipated needs and to maintain compliance with patient safety and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities

Oversee, assess and enhance provision of patient care services in the Perinatal Care Unit on a 24/7 basis to meet quality, service and growth goals. Manage day-to-day clinical nursing functions of the Special Perinatal Unit and Services. Develop, implement and monitor staffing plans, scheduling and staff development to meet current and anticipated needs and ensure compliance with patient safety and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with leadership across departments (MFM, OB Services, Perioperative Services, Nursing) and with academic partners to drive program improvements. Qualifications

Minimum five (5) years of OB nursing leadership experience. Minimum four (4) years labor and delivery experience. A Master's degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing; or a Master’s in Business Administration, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field with a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing. If enrolled in a Master's program, must complete within three years and maintain solid performance with a Bachelor's in Nursing. Experience in a matrixed environment; experience building and launching new programs, designing strategic initiatives, and developing strategic partnerships. Required Credentials

Current Washington State RN license or Multistate (MSL) RN license. Master’s degree or higher in Nursing or transcripts indicating attainment; if Master's is in a related field, must include a Bachelor's in Nursing on record. Nursing or healthcare-related professional board certification in a clinical specialty area or leadership within three years of hire and maintained thereafter (ANCC-recognized). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; PEARS or PALS accepted in lieu of BLS. ACLS not accepted as substitute. ACLS and NRP certifications at time of hire or within 3 months, maintained thereafter. Diploma/transcript on record for RN performing moderately complex point-of-care testing per CAP and CMS requirements; for personnel trained outside the U.S., foreign credentialing equivalency evaluated by a recognized agency. Preferred

Experience leading a perinatal program in a pediatric hospital setting. Experience in an academic medical center. Compensation

Compensation Range: $180,884.00 - $271,326.00 per year. Salary information reflects full-time employment (2080 hours/year). Offers determined by factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range. Benefits
