Summary
Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Facilities and Asset Management's (OFAM), locations available in Washington, DC, Tucson, AZ, Aliso Viejo, CA, Indianapolis, IN and Euless, TX.
Duties

H.R.1 is driving the largest ever investment to modernize and construct cutting-edge Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facilities. As a key member of CBP's Office of Facilities and Asset Management, you will play a critical role in construction projects that support frontline personnel, modernize federal infrastructure, protect Americans, and secure our Nation's borders.
This position starts at a salary of $124,531.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to $161,889.00 (GS-14, Step 10) with promotion potential to $161,889 (GS-14 Step 10).
Typical work duties include: Planning, organizing, coordinating, managing, and evaluating the activities of the overall construction process to support CBP's mission to secure the border and ensure safe and lawful trade and travel. Managing complex facility construction projects, often cutting across organizational lines, by providing administrative expertise throughout the life-cycle of the project.
Requirements
You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply for this position. Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered with Selective Service. Primary U.S. residency for at least three of the last five years.
All pre-employment processes will be conducted in English. You may be required to pass a background investigation. CBP follows the DHS Drug-Free Workplace Plan for drug testing procedures.
Qualifications
Experience: You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Managing complex facility construction projects, including end-to-end procurement, design, and construction processes, while ensuring adherence to established budgets, schedules, and organizational goals.
