Overview
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up and teardown of a Seasonal Store. The Assistant Manager helps ensure maximum sales and profitability by establishing and maintaining guest services, developing staff, controlling expenses, shrinkage, and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control. The role requires a flexible schedule and is located in
Glenwood Springs, CO .
Responsibilities
Assist the Store Manager with staffing, setup, merchandising, and teardown of a Seasonal Store.
Support guest services and provide leadership to staff to meet sales and profitability goals.
Manage expenses, shrinkage, and inventory control, ensuring proper merchandising standards.
Ensure compliance with store policies and safety procedures; participate in setup and teardown as required.
Qualifications
Minimum age 18.
Prior retail management experience required.
Flexible schedule required.
Physical demands include 8+ hours of standing and walking, climbing ladders, setting up fixtures, and lifting/moving up to 50 pounds.
