Community Health Systems Community Health Systems (CHS) is seeking a proven leader with strong analytical skills and hospital operational experience to support and optimize supply chain initiatives across the organization. This individual will lead efforts to establish measurable baselines, track outcomes, and visualize performance through data modeling, reporting, and presentations. The Ideal Candidate Will Have a Deep Understanding Of Data Analytics: modeling, visualization, "what-if" scenarios, and presentations Hospital operations: including supply chain/logistics, financial operations, and cost impact Supply chain finance: including rebates, discounts, and administration fees ERP systems: strong familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning tools (e.g., Oracle) Essential Duties And Responsibilities Rebate Allocation : Allocate all received rebates and administrative fees to the appropriate facilities. Rebate Forecasting & Accruals : Develop and maintain forecasts for rebates and admin fees believed to be earned but not yet paid. Track trends to support accurate estimates of rebate revenue. Monthly Supply Expense Reporting : Prepare and distribute monthly supply expense reports using Oracle Essbase and other tools. Respond to ad hoc reporting requests. Savings Tracker Maintenance : Maintain the Savings Tracker document with detailed tracking of all proposed, implemented, and realized cost-saving initiatives. Deliver monthly reports on savings performance to Supply Chain leadership. SpendMend Allocation : Allocate SpendMend recoveries and invoice charges to the correct facilities. Reconcile SpendMend balance sheet accounts monthly with Accounting. Semi-Annual Physical Inventory Oversight : Collect key findings from hospital-submitted physical inventory recaps. Provide ongoing tracking of unresolved inventory discrepancies. Audit & Accounting Liaison : Serve as the primary contact for internal/external audits related to rebates. Provide documentation and respond to accounting inquiries as needed. Analytical Support for New Projects : Evaluate prospective supply chain initiatives using real-world operational insight and quantitative analysis. Deliver projections of expected savings and outcomes. Project Management : Provide project oversight for major supply chain initiatives. Coordinate cross-functional teams and tools to ensure successful execution. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field; Master’s preferred 5+ years of experience in healthcare supply chain, analytics, or finance Proficient in Oracle Essbase, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) Strong understanding of rebates, GPOs, and administrative fees Knowledge of hospital logistics, financial operations, and ERP systems Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially with senior leadership Strong organizational and project management abilities Preferred Qualifications Experience in a multi-hospital or healthcare system environment Familiarity with SpendMend or similar recovery audit platforms PMP or similar project management certification Community Health Systems is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
