KTE Services Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Hazard, Kentucky An established and respected anesthesia practice in the Hazard, Kentucky area is actively seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join their experienced team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to provide anesthesia services primarily for routine surgical cases with obstetrics involvement, all within a supportive and stable work environment. Position Highlights This position is designed for CRNAs seeking work-life balance combined with competitive compensation. The schedule is highly desirable - no overnight or holiday call, with a backup call option that comes with a generous $25,000 stipend and very rare callbacks. Expect less than 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday only. This is a 1099 contractor role with an attractive annual salary of
$350,000 and a $150,000 sign-on bonus.
The position also offers eight weeks of paid vacation annually and opportunities to earn additional income through overtime shifts. Key Responsibilities Administering safe and effective anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures Conducting thorough pre-operative assessments and formulating personalized anesthesia plans Monitoring patient vital signs continuously during procedures and adjusting anesthesia levels as needed Collaborating closely with fellow anesthesia providers to maintain high standards of patient care Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of anesthesia care and patient records Candidate Requirements Applicants may be current Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists (SRNAs) or experienced CRNAs. A valid CRNA certification and appropriate licensure are essential. Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work well within a team-oriented setting are also important for success in this role.
