University Veterinary Hospital is a full-service animal hospital providing comprehensive pet healthcare serving the Berkeley, Albany, Emeryville, Oakland, Richmond, El Cerrito and El Sobrante areas for over 30 years. Sitting across the bay from San Francisco, Central Berkeley is a 35-minute commute on the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) subway train from San Francisco’s financial district. Berkeley lies within easy reach of beaches, mountains and forests with scenic hiking trails and a blossoming organic food and wine movement. Berkeley scores big in categories like commute, quality of local schools, crime rates, housing trends, weather, nightlife and employment statistic, among others.
We offer generous salaries, 401(k), medical benefits, CE allowance, professional dues and liability coverage. The base salary for this position can range between $130,000 - $150,000+ annually with production for a 40-hour work week (4 tens) and will be determined based on previous experience, skill set, and practice type. Total compensation may also include a sign-on bonus.
