The ML Platform team builds tools & infra that empower all ML Engineers at Waymo to experiment & deploy ML models efficiently. These systems include solutions for data generation, feature store, bulk inference, lineage tracking, and dataset management. We are looking for a software engineer to join our team to build highly scalable data infrastructure to help scale Waymo's datasets to power the ever-growing ML models.
You Will
Report into our Head of ML PlatformDesign and build the next generation data generation framework at Waymo. Collaborate with ML practitioners on designing the schema & infrastructure in managing the ML datasets. Collaborate with other infra teams to make sure we have an efficient end-to-end data pipeline for model training.
You Have
2+ years of professional experience in the field of software engineering Experience in programming C++ Experience with building highly scalable distributed system
Nice To Have
Experience in building ML data infra Passionate about building internal infra & tools
The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the role location or, if the role can be performed remote, the specific salary range for your preferred location, during the hiring process.
Waymo employees are also eligible to participate in Waymo’s discretionary annual bonus program, equity incentive plan, and generous Company benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.
