Technical Architect – Magento TA

to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-scale eCommerce solutions. This role requires deep expertise in Magento (Adobe Commerce), advanced architectural design skills, and the ability to integrate complex systems in a high-volume, large-scale environment. You will be responsible for defining architecture strategy, driving technical excellence, and ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing eCommerce platforms. Key Responsibilities Define and own the overall technical architecture for Magento-based eCommerce platforms. Lead solution design to ensure scalability, performance, and adherence to security best practices. Oversee and manage integrations with ERP, CRM, PIM, and other third-party systems. Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring coding standards and best practices are followed. Conduct architecture reviews, code audits, and performance tuning. Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions. Technical Profile 10+ years of eCommerce development experience, with 6+ years in Magento (Adobe Commerce). Proven track record as a Technical Architect in enterprise environments. Strong knowledge of Magento 2 architecture, customization, and extension development. Proficient in PHP, MySQL, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Knockout.js). Skilled in cloud hosting environments (AWS, Azure) and CI/CD pipeline setup. Expertise in API design and implementation (REST, GraphQL). Experience in performance optimization and high-availability architectures. Understanding of eCommerce platform security best practices. Functional Profile Experienced in translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Strong leadership in guiding cross-functional development teams. Ability to manage complex integrations across enterprise systems. Effective communicator with both technical and business stakeholders. Collaborative and proactive in driving architectural standards. The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $54.81/hour - $85.64/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
