Amazon
Job ID: 3092569 | Amazon Web Services, Inc.
AWS helps startups access cloud technology at scale. We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer who wants to impact how startups get started and grow on AWS. You will contribute to building applications that use modern architectures and technologies to meet performance, availability, and feature expectations for our Startup community.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and productionizing software that is stable, performant and scalable. You will ensure that software is delivered on time, directly addresses needs and customer pain-points. With minimal guidance, you will prioritize the correct work and focus on solving complex, ambiguous problems in both existing and new software initiatives through the application of appropriate technologies and best practices. You will make appropriate trade-offs, re-use where possible, and are judicious about introducing dependencies. Success means implementing data-driven product improvements and designing intuitive, scalable solutions that enhance the startup customer experience.
The ideal candidate holds high technical standards for themselves and their teammates, helps the team evolve through code reviews, mentorships, and design discussions. They constructively identify problems and bottlenecks, and propose solutions. They demonstrate personal ownership of projects and advocate for software enhancements that improve team processes and products. They have experience working with AI/ML technologies and a track record of launching successful products using data-driven decision-making.
On the Startup Team, you’ll play a crucial role in democratizing cloud technology for startups worldwide, working with AWS resources including service credits, technical training, startup events, exclusive offers, and personalized growth plans.
