Software Development Engineer (ML), AGI Customization
The Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) team is looking for a passionate, talented, and inventive ML Engineer with a strong machine learning background, to build customization capabilities such as fine tuning, distillation, model evaluation, prompt optimization, etc. As a ML engineer with the AGI team, you will be responsible for leading the development of novel LLM training techniques and optimizations to advance the state of LLMs. You will collaborate closely with Applied Scientists and leverage Amazon’s heterogeneous data sources and large-scale computing resources to accelerate development of multimodal Large Language Models and Generative Artificial Intelligence solutions. Key job responsibilities include: Leading the development of novel LLM training techniques and optimizations Collaborating with Applied Scientists to process data and scale machine learning models while optimizing Working in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software Investigating design approaches, prototyping new technology, and evaluating technical feasibility with other team engineers About the team: Our team is dedicated to supporting new members, with a broad mix of experience levels and tenures. 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience Experience programming with at least one software programming language Preferred Qualifications
