As a Residential Loan Processor, you will assist Loan Officers/Originators in processing real estate loans, ensuring compliance with all Federal Regulations and internal policies. The Loan Processor will play a critical role in tracking and managing loan files, ensuring timely closures, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Loan Officers/Originators with the documentation required for processing real estate loans. Ensure all loans comply with Federal Regulations and company loan policies. Track and manage loan files in the mortgage and prestige loan pipeline, including secondary market loans. Assemble loan files and complete HMDA screens using the appropriate software. Order appraisals, title work, surveys, and obtain all necessary verifications. Request payoffs, verify insurance, and clear any outstanding closing conditions. Produce loan documentation and update borrower/loan information in the processing system as necessary. Coordinate loan closings with customers, loan officers, title agencies, and the loan closing department. Provide high-quality customer service and communicate effectively with all stakeholders. Collaborate with team members to ensure proper coverage and backup for processing and timely loan closings. Qualifications:
Previous experience in loan processing or a related field preferred. Strong knowledge of real estate loan processing and Federal Regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in loan processing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
