Job Description

Execute the bank's corporate banking strategy to meet growth and profitability objectives efficiently.

Build and manage relationships with major corporate groups, offering comprehensive solutions including financing, capital raising, advisory, treasury, and risk management services.

Oversee departmental business plans to ensure alignment with overall targets and drive sustainable growth.

Review financial performance (balance sheet, income statement, and budgets) regularly, addressing variances with department heads.

Deliver high-value banking products and services to wholesale and corporate clients.

Communicate strategy, plans, budgets, and policy updates clearly across the wholesale team to maintain alignment.

Ensure full compliance with central bank regulations and other governing authorities.

Oversee the launch of new and innovative corporate banking products.

Manage the Corporate Banking risk profile, monitoring portfolio quality to align with credit and executive committee expectations.

Monitor the portfolio across various dimensions (industry, geography, product, client segment) and take corrective action when needed.

Address audit findings and compliance issues with robust action plans.

Lead, coach, and evaluate team members to enhance performance and departmental effectiveness.

The Successful Applicant

15+ years' experience in corporate banking.

In-depth expertise in credit, lending, trade finance, treasury, liquidity and cash management, insurance, investments, and private banking.

Proven skills in writing credit reports and business presentations.

Strong relationship management skills with a sound understanding of risk management practices.

Deep knowledge of corporate market, regulatory environment, and competitive landscape.

Solid understanding of banking operations, finance, control, and risk management.

Strong track record in managing stakeholder relationships.

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Expertise in lending practices and portfolio management.
