We are a well-established and client-focused accounting firm serving individuals, small businesses, and corporate clients across the Pacific Northwest. Our team is known for delivering accurate, timely, and strategic financial guidance. As we continue to expand, we’re seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Accountant to join our team and help manage a growing portfolio of tax clients. Position Overview: The Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, conducting tax research, and advising clients on tax planning strategies. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts Conduct tax research and stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations Advise clients on tax planning, compliance, and audit support Analyze financial data and ensure accurate reporting and documentation Respond to client inquiries and provide clear, actionable guidance Collaborate with internal teams on cross-functional financial projects Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all client interactions Support year-end close processes and assist with financial statement preparation as needed Qualifications:

Active CPA license is required Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum 3–5 years of experience in public accounting or corporate tax Proficiency in tax software (e.g., ProConnect, UltraTax, Drake, or similar) Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS regulations Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines Preferred Experience:

Experience with multi-state tax filings and small business tax strategy Familiarity with QuickBooks, Excel, and cloud-based accounting platforms Prior exposure to tax audits or IRS correspondence Bilingual skills (especially Spanish or Mandarin) are a plus Benefits:
