Cornea Ophthalmologist opportunity in Historic Washington, DC with George Washington MFA and UHS. This is a full-time position affiliated with George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates (MFA), a clinical practice group at The George Washington University. Board Certified or Board Eligible Ophthalmologist with a focus on Cornea is invited to apply.
Position Highlights
Lead the Cornea service line in a prestigious academic health center
Educate and mentor residents and medical students
Treat a diverse patient population with unique, rarely seen diseases
Eligible for J-1 Visa sponsorship and PSLF
Sign-on Bonus
Competitive compensation in the $280K-$350K range, with benefits including malpractice coverage, CME, relocation reimbursement, and more incentives
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive cornea ophthalmology care within an academic setting
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance patient outcomes
Participate in teaching, academic activities, and research opportunities
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
Fellowship trained in Cornea
Experience in academic settings preferred
Eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia
