Experience with Operational Technology (OT), Building Management Systems (BMS), or industrial control system environments and their unique upgrade challenges. Experience in developing long-term strategies for technology sustainability, including patch management and lifecycle planning. Ability to manage vendor relationships, drive cost efficiencies, and manage programmatic budgets. About the job

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and program managing the overarching strategy for the upgrade of Physical Security and Operational Technology (OT) security systems, ensuring alignment with security policies. You will also develop a long-term sustainability strategy for these upgrades to ensure system health, compliance, and lifecycle management. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the strategic roadmap for the upgrade of physical security systems and OT security (e.g., PMS, BMS). Define a long-term sustainability strategy focusing on lifecycle management, patch programs, and continuous compliance. Manage the end-to-end upgrade initiative, establishing programmatic controls and reporting to drive cost-effectiveness, schedule adherence, and overall program quality. Lead cross-functional teams and multiple simultaneous upgrade projects, managing dependencies, competing priorities, and risks across various stakeholders and geographies. Collaborate with and support site-specific partner teams, acting as the central point of escalation to unblock programmatic issues and ensure alignment between central strategy and local execution.
