The
Director of Enterprise Solutions
leads strategic engagement with Xylem’s most critical enterprise accounts in the North American Utilities sector. The role shapes high-impact partnerships across business segments, ensuring that customer-centric solutions align with clients’ long-term objectives and positions the Enterprise Utilities market for growth. The director acts as a trusted advisor and relationship builder, driving revenue growth and long-term value by coordinating with cross-functional teams to align client needs, solution development, and Xylem’s broader goals. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Leadership: Serve as the primary relationship owner for Xylem’s top-tier enterprise utility accounts, cultivating executive-level trust and long-term client partnerships. Lead the development and execution of account strategies that align with customer priorities and Xylem’s business goals. Revenue & Growth Management: Own revenue growth targets across designated enterprise accounts, drive pipeline development, and pursue cross-sell and upsell opportunities. Enterprise Strategy & Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to co-create tailored solutions addressing complex market and customer challenges with measurable outcomes. Lead multi-year strategic planning for the Utility vertical and global enterprise accounts. Contracting & Commercial Management: Oversee negotiation of strategic contracts and framework agreements with commercially sound terms that strengthen relationships and mitigate risk. Internal & External Collaboration: Act as the central liaison between clients and Xylem’s internal stakeholders; work with marketing, R&D, operations, and commercial teams to deliver customer-driven innovations. Performance Management: Define and track KPIs, provide visibility to senior leadership via dashboards and reports, and monitor industry trends to evolve account strategies. Enterprise Capability Building: Identify and build internal capabilities (tools, processes, service models, operational support) to serve large, complex regional and global accounts. Qualifications
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years in account management, sales, or business development. Skills & Competencies: Strong sales process understanding, market analysis, excellent communication and negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and CRM proficiency. Personal Attributes: Initiative-taking, strong critical thinking, ability to work independently and in teams, and comfort in a demanding environment. Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven success managing complex, high-value global accounts in a matrixed environment. Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills with a track record of revenue growth. Analytical thinker with executive-level influence ability and excellent collaboration and communication skills. Compensation & Benefits
The estimated salary range is $125,000 to $175,000 plus bonus. Starting pay depends on factors such as skills, experience, and location.
