Bi-Lingual Home Infusion Pharmacy Technician / Intake Coordinator

About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced
Bi-Lingual Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician / Intake Coordinator
to join our growing home infusion pharmacy team. This hybrid role blends sterile compounding support with intake coordination responsibilities, ensuring that patients receive safe, accurate, and timely infusion therapies in the home setting.
Position Summary The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Spanish, possess strong technical and organizational skills, and thrive in both cleanroom environments and patient-facing communication. You'll support pharmacists with sterile compounding tasks while also managing intake processes, insurance verification, authorizations, and patient coordination to deliver seamless care.
$20-$28/hour plus benefits. Direct hire, full time hours.
Key Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists with sterile product preparation in compliance with USP , , and quality standards. Demonstrate proper garbing, aseptic technique, and maintain cleanroom environments. Accurately prepare labels, batch records, and patient-specific supplies. Maintain and document cleanroom sanitization and support quality control measures. Participate in training and continuous improvement activities. Process referrals and intake requests with accuracy and timeliness. Verify insurance benefits, initiate prior authorizations, and follow up as needed. Document intake activity and patient communications to support case continuity. Communicate therapy costs and financial obligations clearly to patients. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to improve patient experience.
Qualifications Required:
Bilingual - fluent in English and Spanish. Active Florida Pharmacy Technician license or registration. High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of experience in sterile compounding and/or healthcare intake, billing, or pharmacy operations. Strong technology proficiency with pharmacy systems and Microsoft Office tools. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills. National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT), preferred. Prior experience in home infusion therapy, preferred. Medical coding or billing training, preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods in a cleanroom environment. Ability to lift up to ~40 lbs and perform repetitive compounding tasks.
