We are looking for a hands-on and versatile IT Systems & Applications Administrator to support operations at EuropTec USA. In this standalone role, you will take ownership of our business-critical applications—especially our ERP system—and act as the local point of contact for all IT infrastructure needs. While the IT organization is decentralized and infrastructure strategy is defined centrally at our headquarters in Switzerland, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations on-site and collaborating closely with the central IT team.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary owner of business applications, with a focus on ERP system administration and support Act as the local lead for IT infrastructure operations, in coordination with the central infrastructure team Collaborate with cross-functional support teams to resolve application and infrastructure issues efficiently Coordinate hardware and software provisioning for end users in cooperation with central IT Advise and assist users in application usage and process handling Analyze and resolve application-related incidents and errors Develop, document, and enforce IT processes and standards Maintain and update technical documentation and inventory records Participate in projects such as ERP upgrades, new system rollouts, and integrations
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent hands-on experience in IT operations and application support Strong analytical skills and a structured, service-oriented approach Proficiency in SQL and interest in ERP systems and software development Excellent communication skills Willingness to work independently and take ownership of local IT operations
