Chief Nursing Officer - Inpatient Rehab

Overview SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital , a joint venture with Select Medical & SSM Health Hospital, is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) in Oklahoma City, OK. The Chief Nursing Officer serves as a mentor to the nursing team and plays a key role in developing and growing their staff. The position qualifies for our Loan Repayment Assistance program, with full-time employees eligible after their first 90 days. Responsibilities The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) is a senior member of the hospital leadership team, and actively participates in the oversight and establishment of best practices and standards for hospital clinical services. The CNO manages the nursing teams to provide the highest quality of care and service for patients. The CNO coordinates nursing with other patient care and support functions to assure optimum delivery of health care. Key responsibilities include: Steering progressive clinical excellence through staff development Sharing responsibility for employee engagement, recruitment, and retention Providing nursing care to patients with acute medical conditions Assigning nursing personnel, serving as a resource person, and consultant Implementing company standards of care, policies, and procedures Ensuring all regulatory requirements are met Creating and implementing schedules for safe staffing Collaborating with hospital leadership and other departments to achieve the best patient outcomes Qualifications Minimum Qualifications BSN required MSN or equivalent Master's in Healthcare, or enrollment in a Master's program required Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse required 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience required 3 or more years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity required Certified BLS completed on date of hire required ACLS required within 6 months of hire Preferred Experience Three years of RN experience in rehabilitation nursing preferred CRRN required when eligible About Our Facility Select Medical’s Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospitals provide advanced treatment and comprehensive care to address the medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges for individuals with: Brain Injury Spinal Cord Injury Stroke Amputation Neurological Disorders Orthopedic Conditions Multiple Traumas We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, including Disabled/Veterans.
