Role And Responsibilities
Position Type: Full-time or Part-time Call Schedule: 24-hour in-house EMR: Cerner Provider Support: Collaborative team of Physicians and Advanced Practice Professionals Census: 135 average births per month (split amongst two physicians) Facility Information
154-bed hospital 8-bed labor unit 13-bed postpartum unit 16-bed Level 3 NICU Qualifications
Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school. Training: Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency program. Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Licensure: Valid and active medical license in California. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NRP preferred. Experience: At least one (1) year of experience preferred, though recent residency graduates will also be considered. Skills:
Strong clinical and surgical skills in obstetrics and gynecology. Excellent communication skills for patient education. Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and general computer skills.
Compensation and Perks
