Director of Mental Health and Clinical Services
to lead and expand our behavioral health division.
You’ll oversee a diverse and high-impact portfolio of programs designed to ensure individuals receive timely access to care, meaningful clinical engagement, and ongoing support on their recovery journey. Your leadership will shape how care is delivered, how teams thrive, and how success is measured across our mental health continuum.
You’ll lead high-performing teams of Assistant Directors and licensed clinicians, drive program excellence, and build a culture rooted in accountability, innovation, and client-centered impact.

Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational leadership across a diverse portfolio of clinical and community-based programs including Therapy Services, Access and Intake, Psychosocial Rehabilitation, IPS (employment program) and specialized initiatives to ensure high-quality, client-centered care.
Set and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across programs to ensure quality, compliance, and financial sustainability.
Supervise and support a team of Assistant Directors and clinical staff.
Ensure full regulatory and billing compliance with Medicaid (Rule 140), Medicare, and third-party payers.
Lead quality assurance activities, program audits, and re-accreditation efforts.
Partner with revenue cycle and compliance teams to maximize billing and service delivery efficiency.
Lead initiatives to improve client access, engagement, and service outcomes.
Coordinate morale-building initiatives and team recognition events.
Represent Envision at stakeholder meetings, community partnerships, and funder discussions.

Requirements Required Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
Active Illinois clinical licensure (LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT) required.
Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in behavioral health.
At least 2 years of Medicaid billing and Rule 140 compliance experience.
Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices, trauma-informed care, and intake systems.
Experience with multidisciplinary leadership, productivity oversight, and client outcomes tracking.
