What You'll Do Collaborate as interdisciplinary team players to align with cross-functional stakeholder groups and existing teams. Apply extensive IT expertise to drive novel, architecturally sound solutions. Navigate ambiguity with confidence, working through undefined paths. Act as change agents to implement new processes and tools and align teams with IT best practices. Advocate for agile methodologies to tackle challenges and implement change. Apply creative thinking to envision next-generation technology solutions. Serve as a hands-on practitioner and subject matter expert in IT Architecture. Partner with senior client stakeholders, including C-level executives, to build hypothesis-driven technology strategies aligned with business goals. You Are Good At IT Architecture and Solution Design Implementation and deployment of marketing technology projects Assessing and selecting MarTech solutions (CRM, Loyalty, CDP, Offer Management) Optimizing integration of MarTech tools with enterprise platforms (CDP, CMS, Marketing automation, Analytics) Designing solution, application, and data architectures to maximize marketing impact Developing feasibility studies, technical concepts, proofs of concept, and scaling software solutions Performing technology assessments and IT architecture optimization Analyzing complex IT landscapes and architectures Reviewing technical architecture and code IT Optimization and Transformation Support IT functions during mergers and acquisitions, including transformation of IT departments Restructure IT processes and organization Optimize application development processes Implementation Management and Support Design work packages/modules in IT implementation projects Evaluate products and solutions across systems (ERP, HR, Data Analytics) Assess quality assurance for IT implementations Communication and Collaboration Craft compelling narratives and translate complex ideas for technical and non-technical audiences Deliver impactful presentations, lead modules, present findings, and build client consensus Foster collaboration, mentor teams, and share knowledge to drive success Innovation and Growth Drive innovation and transformative solutions Maintain a growth mindset and continuously learn to increase impact Contribute to business development through proposals and scoping What You'll Bring Bachelor’s degree in information technology, marketing, business administration, computer science, information systems, or related field (Master’s preferred) 4+ years of technology consulting or software engineering experience with >1 year in IT or business architecture Proficiency with MarTech tools (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Adobe Experience Cloud, Google Analytics) Strong technical knowledge, engineering rigor, and problem-solving skills Ability to explain complex technology topics to senior executives Extensive expertise in topics such as: CRM/CMS/CDP/Marketing automation, Digital Advertising, Data integration, Cloud architectures, API/Microservices, Data platforms, Data analytics/AI, DevOps/AIOps, and related areas Agile mindset with a path toward modern architecture capabilities and business value Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, IT, Sales, Data) Willingness to travel to client sites; travel amount depends on project needs Benefits Best-in-class benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents Fully vested retirement contributions Generous paid time off and parental leave benefits Support for gym memberships and fitness activities Other family and lifestyle benefits as part of a comprehensive program Boston Consulting Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
