Job Purpose
Manage the production line schedules & supply plan in a manner that meets and complies with all company policies and metrics.
Essential Functions
Develop and maintain supply plan & production schedules using SAP ERP system
Adjust schedules as needed, due to changes in customer demand/need or production requirements
Analyze and adjust inventory targets based on forecasted demand and available capacity
Ensure the supply plan & production schedule are aligned to overall inventory targets
Create necessary reports, procedures, and documentation to create sustainable, effective processes and results
Work in cooperation with leads, supervisors, and other support staff to meet daily production requirements
Communicate across multiple support functions to resolve issues impacting schedules
Provide a focal point for information flow from the production floor, quality, customer service, and functional managers; advise management of work in progress
Coordinate with purchasing staff and customer service to resolve issues regarding shortages, schedule changes, paperwork, system corrections, and short-range recovery planning
Develop and maintain metrics, activities, and trends for management review
Participate in continuous improvement Lean initiatives eliminating unnecessary processes
Develop value-added metrics to support continuous improvement
Address significant production issues/questions during non-working hours as needed to support the facility
Provide backup for other production schedulers during vacations, sick days, etc.
Comply with all food safety requirements, training, policies, and procedures
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies)
Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field or 2+ years of supply chain/production scheduling/demand planning/production experience
Food and beverage industry experience beneficial
Demonstrated proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) beneficial
Strong knowledge and working experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
Ability to gain in-depth knowledge of company products, parts, production operations, and customer requirements
Flexible with the ability to respond as needed to changes in business
Solid understanding of supply chain management, planning, material requirements, and familiarity with production scheduling
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task, prioritize, track, coordinate, and expedite activities to meet scheduling expectations
Ability to interpret data charts, trends, and goal setting measurements
Ability to perform root cause analysis for process improvement
Proven strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to build consensus and move team to improvement
Proficient reading, writing, oral communication, and comprehension in English language
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively within an organization and collaborate with internal and external clients to determine requirements and eliminate barriers that may affect the delivery of product

Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $70,000 to $95,000 annually. Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. Rise Baking Company complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
