REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or Equivalency Basic reading, writing, and math Skills Basic Computer Skills Forklift certified with minimum of 1 year experience Ability to take directions Maintain above average attendance for scheduled work shifts Able to lift 75 lbs. safely
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Load trucks in proper sequence. Check loading tickets. Lock out trailers before loading and unlock once loading is complete. Use forklift to load trailers as needed. Input and track information in inventory control system. Verify trucks have been loaded properly. Move stock in loading area as necessary. Inspect trailers for damage. Run manifest and bills of lading. Handle finished foam goods weighing up to 75 lbs. Lock out and chock wheels. Use computers to scan rolls. Measure accurately with a tape measure. Perform weekly/monthly inventory count. Stage foam goods for outbound trucks. Ensure trailers are not damaged during loading. Make sure dock bays and outside dock is clean. Perform housekeeping on equipment and surrounding work area. Make decision if trailer is ok to load. May call supervisor/truck shop as needed. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
