Job Summary: KanEquip-Ellsworth has an immediate opening for a Service Writer to assist the Service Department with administrative duties and repair orders for agriculture and construction equipment. The ideal candidate has… Experience in an agriculture equipment service department or an agricultural equipment dealership. Expertise with computer system, including MS office and internet-based applications. Ability to work seasonally extended hours during the week or weekends. Acceptable Motor Vehicle status- current driver’s license, and ability to operate motor vehicle *Ability to travel to company meetings and training events as needed. You will contribute to our team by: (Duties and Responsibilities) Coordinating with the Service Manager to assign jobs to technicians in the service department according to their skill and knowledge. Assisting in supervision of technicians and ensuring excellent customer experience. Communicate clearly with customers regarding service work and billing. Maintaining a positive and professional working relationship with the service team, other dealership staff and venders. Completing forms for service operations and warranty in a timely and accurate manner. Promoting teamwork and communication through effective interaction with team members. Managing service trucking and sales logistics. Experience in an agriculture equipment service department or an agricultural equipment dealership. Expertise with computer system, including MS office and internet-based applications. Ability to work seasonally extended hours during the week or weekends. Knowledge of agricultural operations -farming background preferred. Solid diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with customers and employees. If you have/can: (Skills and Experience) Minimum 3 years’ experience in a service department, preferably as a technician in an agricultural dealership. Great customer service skills.
