CAA is seeking a senior software engineer (full stack developer) to join our product development team. The team designs and builds software experiences for mobile and web that are valuable for CAA’s diverse, global, high-energy entertainment industry culture of agents, executives, artists, and business partners. Responsibilities
Provide architectural guidance and make key technical decisions. Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. Engage with end users to gather feedback and iteratively improve the product. Required Capabilities
Education - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred, though equivalent experience and demonstrable expertise are valued. Languages & Frameworks - Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript with 5+ years of production experience. Deep experience with React, Redux, and modern testing tools (e.g., React Testing Library, Jest, Cypress, Playwright). Strong understanding of Node.js with Express or Hapi.js and building robust RESTful APIs. Proficiency with React Native and Swift is a plus. Experience delivering PWAs is desirable. Architecture & Best Practices - Comfortable designing scalable solutions and implementing design patterns for maintainability and performance. Databases - Experience with SQL and NoSQL; hands-on with MongoDB and Elasticsearch. Tools & Platforms - Proficient with Git and GitHub. Familiar with browser debugging tools. Experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. Methodologies & Mindset - Experienced in Agile and Continuous Delivery. Strong testing discipline across unit, integration, and end-to-end tests. Understanding of HTTP, web security, performance optimization, and API testing tools. Commitment to clean, readable, and well-documented code. Shipping - Passion for shipping and maintaining production software; strong verbal, written, and visual communication. Focus on details, problem-solving, simplicity, quality, and speed. Location
This position will likely work remotely but may require hybrid work (1-2 days per week in an office in Nashville). Compensation
The annual base salary is in the range of $112,000 - $130,000 in Nashville, TN. Benefits and a discretionary bonus are included. Salary may vary based on experience, time in role, business needs, and location. EEO Statement
