Overview The Senior Application Developer - SAP Procurement will collaborate with a small team responsible for building, maintaining, integrating and implementing SAP S/4 Procurement and Risk Management and Sourcing software applications to Cargill’s Animal Nutrition businesses and Corporate Functions. With minimal supervision, this role performs complex software application design, testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation and support to ensure smooth, stable and timely implementation of new software and updates to installed applications.
Responsibilities
SAP REQUIREMENTS SOLUTIONING: Capture and analysis of business requirements; research and provide solution alternatives and implement the preferred recommendations.
SAP APPLICATION CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT: Build complex application configurations to meet user and business requirements while identifying improvements to complex application support processes and procedures.
SAP APPLICATION DEPLOYMENT: Design, test and deploy new development, updates, or fixes of application version releases.
USER COMMUNICATION & SUPPORT: Maintain open communication with users to respond to complex application support requests, support User Acceptance Testing and Super User training.
APPLICATION SUPPORT: Conduct complex technical application support activities to deliver on business outcomes.
STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Partner with multi-functional teams to ensure configurations align with standards and project goals.
Qualifications
Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 5 years or more of relevant experience.
Preferred Work Experience
Strong preference for experience in multiple areas of SAP S/4 Indirect and Direct Procurement (Sourcing raw material, Procurement of ingredient, Freight procurement, Contract Management, Pricing etc.).
Professional experience with integrations between SAP and external applications and government applications.
Demonstrated stakeholder management, presenting to and influencing executive leaders.
Experience implementing ERP across multiple geographies.
Experience working on high-impact global ERP projects, strategic initiatives, and change management initiatives. Professional experience with SAP Cloud, e-Commerce applications, BTP experience.
