What is the Consulting Solutions Architect Team?
The Consulting Solutions Architecture Team is a Pre-Sales overlay team with various Domain Experts who work with the Core WWT Account Teams to provide Domain Expertise & Technical Alignment across our largest customers within the Heartland Area. As a
Consulting Solutions Architect (CSA) , you’ll partner with Client Managers and Consulting Systems Engineers to lead the Enterprise Networking strategy for Fortune 500 customers across the Heartland Area. You’ll work across technologies like Datacenter Networking, Campus Networking, Wireless, SD-WAN, SASE/SSE, and AI Networking Solutions. You’ll also have full access to WWT’s Advanced Technology Center (ATC), a hands-on lab environment that supports demos, POCs, workshops, and personal development. What will you be doing? As a CSA, you’ll support Enterprise Networking pre-sales engagements across the Heartland Area, acting as a trusted advisor to key Enterprise Customers. You’ll align our technical solutions with our customer’s business goals, maintain strategic relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to drive outcomes. The role also involves working with Enterprise Networking OEMs such as Cisco, Juniper, Nvidia, and many others in the Enterprise Networking space. Job Duties and Responsibilities: This role will be covering the North Central region.
Be a self-driven and a motivated team player who can work with Core Consulting Systems Engineers and WWT Client Managers to drive strategic discussion around WWT’s Enterprise Networking Solutions
Continue to develop and maintain a deep level of expertise in area of Enterprise Networking & Architecture
Provide technical guidance, knowledge transfers and mentorship to fellow Engineers as required
Simplify the overall messaging to our customers on how WWT can assist them in their journey to modernize their network architecture
Engage in thought leadership activities such as key technology events, blog posts, podcasts, conferences, etc.
Assist the core account team with creating proposals and presentations for WWT’s Enterprise Networking Solutions.
Participate in design sessions & provide technical oversight for customer POCs and lab engagements in our ATC
Assist the core account teams with defining POC requirements and customer engagement guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must live in or be located near major metropolitan cities, covering the North Central region. (Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin)
CCIE R/S, ACDE or JNCIE highly desired but not required
Must understand the competitive Enterprise Networking landscape
Must have large scale Enterprise Networking experience across the Fortune 1000 customers or similar large scale vertical deployments
Expert proficiency in at least two of the following areas of Enterprise Networking: Datacenter Networking, Campus Networking, Wireless, SD-WAN, SASE/SSE and Networking for AI Solutions.
The technical aptitude to learn new Enterprise Networking technologies
Must stay relevant with Enterprise Networking Market trends.
Ability to travel up to 40%
Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $150,000.00 to $210,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs.
