ARC Health is actively seeking a
ABEM-certified Emergency Medicine Physician
to provide emergency medicine care at an IHS facility in Crownpoint, NM, as soon as credentialed.
The facility serves a population of 20,000 Navajo people and operates in a 20-bed hospital with primary care physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners on staff.
Located in northwestern New Mexico within the Navajo Nation, Crownpoint offers cultural experiences and outdoor recreation, including skiing, hiking, and fishing.
The facility serves an area of 4,200 square miles across four counties: McKinley, Cibola, Sandoval, and San Juan.
This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on rural health in a culturally rich setting.
Responsibilities
Provide emergency medicine care at an IHS facility in Crownpoint, NM as soon as credentialed.
Apply the skills from residency in a multi-specialty but non-departmental setting with ongoing backup from colleagues and excellent nursing support.
Collaborate with primary care physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners.
