AWS Security Services is redefining how enterprises protect their cloud-based applications and services. We are innovating in cloud security with services like Amazon GuardDuty, Amazon Security Hub, Amazon Inspector, and Amazon Security Lake. Our team is growing and we need an experienced senior product manager to own innovative new products to help customers protect workloads and services on AWS. If you love building security products that protect some of the world’s most critical cloud infrastructures and applications at massive scale, this role will give you an opportunity to innovate in the security space. Responsibilities

As the Senior Product Manager – Tech for an external customer-facing AWS security service, define strategy and product vision through feature definition, roadmap prioritization, positioning, naming, GTM/adoption, and financial metrics. Translate ambiguous customer needs into disruptive, successful products that delight customers by solving real problems. Define product requirements and go-to-market strategy for AWS Security Services and the needs of our customers; interact with customers (including senior executives) daily; coordinate across internal and external teams; be visible at high levels of the company. Work with customers, partners, software vendors, and operational stakeholders to prioritize roadmap features and spearhead the definition of new capabilities through well-crafted business requirements documents. Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, strong business judgment, and the ability to influence both internally and externally; execute strategically and tactically on ambiguous, industry-defining projects. Maintain a solid technical background; be customer-focused with a passion for security and cloud technology. Qualifications

7+ years of product management experience. Bachelor’s degree, or MBA in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT, or equivalent. Experience owning a P&L and writing business requirements documents, functional specifications, and use cases. 5+ years of experience in areas such as application security frameworks, identity and access controls, incident response, mobile security, cloud security, AI security, threat intelligence, or penetration testing. 5+ years of enterprise-scale infrastructure or development-based cloud programs/projects in a related industry. Experience working with partners through account, product, or program management and business development engagements. Experience in enterprise IT, either as a vendor, consultant, or with prior experience managing technical programs. Experience translating customer needs into innovative and detailed product requirements for customer-facing online and mobile products/services. Experience with pricing and selection strategy; ability to present to C-level executives, IT, and business units. Experience establishing partnerships with internal and external teams to execute tactical initiatives; able to handle ambiguity, prioritize needs, and deliver measurable results in an agile environment. Ability to manage a high volume of requests and competing deadlines; leverage customer insights and data to deeply understand target customers. Proactive, independent work style with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver on projects and tasks. The base pay for this position ranges from $137,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $236,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on factors including market location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
