Backed by MassMutual Wealth Management, the Lending Product Manager will help execute the strategy, design, launch, and optimization of lending solutions across high-net-worth and business owner segments. You’ll architect scalable platforms, streamline advisor experiences, and drive measurable business outcomes, translating vision into execution and complexity into simplicity. You will work across business units, vendors, and enterprise functions to build world-class lending products that unlock client value, enable advisor success, and differentiate the firm in a competitive marketplace. As a member of the Wealth Management organization, you will join a team of experts across Product, Financial Planning, Practice Management, Lending & Banking, Trust, Investments and Operations. The goal is to provide innovative and effective solutions that positively impact advisors and clients, transforming how clients manage their wealth and plan for the future. Lending and Banking Services delivers strategic borrowing solutions that enhance client wealth strategies. The Lending Product Manager reports to the Head of Lending Product and Pricing and collaborates with leaders across product, risk, operations, and technology, as well as external lenders and vendors. As the catalyst behind elevating MassMutual’s Wealth Management Lending platform, you’ll expand and enhance our product offerings, set new industry benchmarks, and create lasting value for clients. Key Responsibilities
Product Management & Execution: Build and execute multi-year product roadmaps aligned with revenue growth, cost, and risk objectives. Identify new lending verticals and market opportunities; manage risk exposure. Forecast lending metrics and inform pricing strategies that support growth across economic environments. Create precise, insight-driven client and advisor personas to shape product strategy, elevate user experience, and accelerate adoption. Drive product definition, gather market intel, lead feasibility testing, and validate new offerings. Partner with legal, compliance, technology, and operations to deliver compliant, scalable, and client-ready products. Strategic Partnership & Platform Development: Lead high-impact partnerships with third-party lenders, source and integrate lending partners, onboard referral lender programs, maintain audit-ready records, track SLAs, and ensure operational excellence. Build prototypes, map user flows, and iterate based on advisor and client feedback. Establish regulatory and risk policy compliance through streamlined control implementation and audit-ready documentation. Product Delivery and Distribution: Partner with marketing and distribution to launch campaigns; provide clear product materials to advisors; monitor feedback and usage trends; track KPIs and translate data into scalable solutions. The Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree 7+ years in financial services with at least 5 years in lending and product management 2+ years onboarding and designing end-to-end process flows for new product offerings 3+ years of Microsoft Suite experience Must be able to pass a non-registered fingerprint background check per FINRA requirements The Ideal Qualifications
7+ years of lending and product management experience Expertise in Securities-Based Lending (SBL) with experience across luxury assets, residential and commercial real estate, and other high-net-worth lending Strong communicator; able to align cross-functional teams and stakeholders Proven ability to manage complex workflows and multiple priorities Detail-oriented with scalability and operational precision History of strategic planning, business transformation, or product innovation with measurable growth FINRA Series 6, 7 or 24 What to Expect as Part of MassMutual and the Team
