The Dentist will be responsible for examining and providing clinical dental services and preventive dental care in a community health center setting. Requirements What Are We Looking For? Board certified or board eligible and licensed to practice medicine in California Current, valid, and unsuspended California medical license DEA X-license (waiver) Current CPR certification Experience At least 2 years of experience working with underserved, low-income, or homeless populations preferred Knowledge Of Current dental practices, treatments, and tests Emerging trends in technology and techniques in dentistry Federal, state, and local laws regarding scope of practice Principles of management and supervision Health insurance and reimbursement issues Community resources for specialty care Cultural sensitivity and commitment to underserved families Safety Standards Maintain knowledge of safety policies Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions Use ergonomic measures Adhere to infection control protocols Physical Requirements The environment is typical of a dental clinic. The employee must frequently sit, handle, stand, walk, reach, lift up to 20 pounds, and possess vision and hearing abilities for communication. Reasonable accommodations available. Compensation - Dependent on Experience $156,000 - $202,800 annually
