Job Title: Cleanroom Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Cleanroom Assembler to join our team in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. You will perform assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical cable assemblies and electrical sub-assemblies. Your role will involve working from instructions, drawings, sketches, and wiring diagrams displayed on a computer tablet. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cable/wire termination and crimping specifications, be proficient with various hand tools, semi-automatic and manual wire crimpers, and power tools. Lifting up to 30 pounds periodically and ensuring precise wire measurements will also be required.
Responsibilities
Execute repetitive to non-repetitive assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies.
Utilize computer tablets for following instructions, drawings, sketches, and wiring diagrams.
Perform cable/wire termination and crimping according to specifications.
Use hand tools, semi-automatic and manual crimpers, and various power tools effectively.
Lift up to 30 pounds periodically as required.
Ensure wire lengths are correct to 1/8 of an inch using a tape measure.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in assembly and wiring.
Skilled in using hand tools and power tools.
Ability to follow instructions using a computer tablet.
Knowledge of cable/wire termination and crimping specifications.
Capability to lift up to 30 pounds.
Precision in measurement to 1/8 of an inch.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
6 months to 1 year of wire assembly experience.
1 year of manufacturing experience.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.

Work Environment
This is a fully on-site position in Des Moines, Iowa, operating on the 1st shift from 7:30 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday. Our temperature-controlled facility is extremely clean, featuring contemporary art on the walls. Team members work mainly independently at 'cell' workstations. While seating is not guaranteed, some jobs offer that option. The dress code is casual, allowing jeans and work-appropriate shirts or sweatshirts. Employees have lockers for personal belongings and can enjoy listening to headphones while working. We pride ourselves on our family-oriented culture and expand our team during busy seasons to maintain high standards.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
