Base pay range $58.56/hr - $103.06/hr
Overview Job Description: Responsible for the preparation, documentation, and quality assurance of individualized IMRT treatment plans by using knowledge of anatomy, physiology, malignant tumors, critical structures, and tolerance levels of all sites of the body.
Principal Accountabilities
Conducts examinations with the use of diagnostic equipment, and determines equipment setting for each procedure.
Performs and calculates the radiation dose and location, and the energy level of the beam.
Presents isodose plans in detail with OARs and target volume doses to the Radiation Oncologist.
Plans and produces molds, casts, and other immobilization devices.
Monitors and records radiation treatment.
Creates and maintains records of treatment plans and outcomes. Works in clinical research (documentation, credentialing) and receive continuing education, as required.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Medical Dosimetry or related field.
Certification in medical dosimetry by the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board.
Relevant Experience
3 years' experience in Dosimetry or relevant area.
Preferred
3-5 years' experience in Dosimetry or relevant area.
Certification in CMD or ARRT Radiation Therapy and BLS.
