CRNA (Certified Nurse Anesthetists) Collaborating with a hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee, that has an opening for a CRNA to provide locum coverage. About the Opening:
Schedule: 4x 10-hour shifts or 5x 8-hour shifts per week No call required Daily Volume: 3-5 cases 30 ORs (including 3 CV rooms, 1 hybrid room, EP lab, cysto/ESWL, and L&D suites) Case Types: All except transplants Medical supervision available EMR: Cerner Paid travel & expenses During your time off, stroll through a revitalized downtown, visit a natural history museum, and hike nearby trails leading to waterfalls, caves, and panoramic mountain overlooks. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) National Institutes of Health (NIH) Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Active unencumbered CRNA Tennessee state license Graduate from a fully accredited CRNA program One year of work experience as CRNA One year of EMR experience Board Certified SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks. Requirements:
