Front-End UI Engineer 734 — TM2 Group, LLC
Base pay range: $117,000.00/yr - $144,000.00/yr This is a hybrid position. Preference given to candidates located in Northern California, New York, or Stamford, Connecticut. Responsibilities: Work as part of our centralized UI/UX Team, bringing cross-company branding and identity to a global level across our security product user interfaces. Daily/weekly collaboration with teammates: engineer standups, team meetings, 1:1s, development demos, sprint planning, and UX design scrub meetings. Build, debug and maintain scalable, responsive, quality front-end solutions following best practices that function across a variety of platforms and devices. HTML5, CSS/SASS (or comparable CSS preprocessor), Bootstrap, JavaScript and/or JS Frameworks such as React.js/Jest. Collaborate closely with UX Design to transform high-fidelity design concepts into intuitive and engaging user interfaces. Utilize rapid prototyping techniques to engineer and refine user interface designs, ensuring alignment with user expectations and optimizing overall UX. Curiosity and enthusiasm for leveraging AI development tools to streamline work and time management. Version control with Git and automation with Webpack. Experience with design systems and understanding their ecosystem. Testing and debugging at all stages of the SDLC. Participate in code reviews and open-brainstorm sessions. Assist in facilitation of JIRA scrum tasks following agile methodologies. Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON. Qualifications : 5+ years of software engineering experience with a college degree and/or demonstrated deep expertise in front-end engineering. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage several projects across multiple code bases within a centralized team. Solid foundations in computer science. Ability to mentor others and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Knowledge and experience implementing client-side security best practices. Creative problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Ability to articulate ideas clearly and work with cross-functional teams including VPs, POs, PMs, QA, DevOps, and designers. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in data security contexts. Scrum master/project management experience. Experience working with RESTful APIs to OpenAPI 3.0. Interest in NLP for human-AI interaction. Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure). Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
