Department Summary
The Department of Film and Theatre offers majors in Radio-Television-Film, Theatre Arts, and Dance. Brief Description Of Duties
Teach undergraduate Dance courses, including courses within the Dance major and General Education; hold regular office hours; collaborate with staff and faculty; participate in course assessments.
Address the needs of a diverse student population through inclusive materials, teaching strategies, and advisement.
Organize all classes within the Canvas LMS.
Deliver classes as scheduled in the mode assigned (e.g., in-person, online, hybrid).
Required Qualifications
Awareness of and sensitivity to a multicultural student body gained through cross-cultural study, training, teaching, or experience.
M.A., M.F.A., or Ph.D. in Dance or related field, with significant professional experience, strong teaching skills, and competence or training in Dance.
