Tetra Tech is adding a Senior Emergency Preparedness Project Manager to our Emergency Management Risk & Resilience team based in a Remote capacity. Ideal candidate will reside in the State of California. Your Opportunity

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing multi-million dollar projects/contracts, maintaining client relations, and identifying and developing new business opportunities in the emergency management community resiliency marketplace. This includes emergency management planning, business continuity planning, financial recovery, and response and recovery services to local and state governments, private businesses, universities and other institutions. Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards. Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness. Work in a safe manner at all times and report health and safety incidents and concerns. Other duties as required. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college required; Master’s degree preferred. Willingness to travel for necessary business purposes (up to 30%). Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) from the International Association of Emergency Managers. Certified Business Continuity Planner. 10+ years relevant project/program management experience. Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in emergency management and public safety challenges. Knowledge of emergency management concepts, hazard mitigation, urban planning, and/or economic recovery. Business development skills and ability to identify opportunities across service lines. Ability to establish and maintain relationships with public and private sector executives. Ability to work independently and manage priorities to meet deadlines. Strong analytical skills and decision-making based on qualitative and quantitative analysis. Strong written and verbal communications skills; works well within a team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint). Life at Tetra Tech
