Our responsibilities include developing and deploying complex visual merchandising experiences, installations, fixtures, furniture, and design solutions for the company’s worldwide retail and channel partners. As a Senior Designer on the 3DVM team, you will work with a multi-disciplinary group of designers focused on creating innovative and inspiring retail experiences. You will be responsible for designing fixtures, product displays and in-store environments for Apple in various retail settings. As part of this creative team, you are part of shaping the customer journey and enhancing customer engagement through storytelling and bespoke displays. Responsibilities

Design with a focus on the full customer journey, ensuring all touch points—from physical environments to interactions—enhance overall experience. Develop and improve designs, through an iterative process, to meet objectives on projects that span between physical fixture, spatial and experience design. Work closely and collaboratively with a team of designers to translate briefs into clear, actionable work aligned with project timelines. Work with cross-functional partners, including interactive, motion, retail tech, industrial design, engineering, and 3D teams, to ensure alignment and feasibility. Produce detailed design intent and development packages to support prototyping, production, and fabrication. Present work regularly to senior creative leads, incorporating feedback and ensuring alignment with broader initiatives. Participate in meetings and presentations, clearly communicating design intent when needed. Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of design experience, specifically in visual merchandising for a leading retailer or global brand Bachelors in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Experience Design, Furniture Design, Industrial Design or a similar field A portfolio of work demonstrating strong craft, design thinking, problem-solving, and clear examples of work in context across a range of spacial experiences Proficiency in 3D modeling and visualization software on Mac OS platforms (Rhino and Cinema 4D and/or Keyshot preferred) Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Preferred Qualifications

Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate ideas in a clear, concise and collaborative manner Ability to approach design problems with creativity and passion Knowledgeable in manufacturing and prototyping process and general construction and engineering principle Exceptional attention to detail and strong visual sensibility Drawing and sketching as part of the design process is preferred Skilled in systematic thinking, able to fluidly shift from high-level strategy to meticulous attention to detail Experienced in fast-paced, ambitious environments with cross-functional collaboration. Highly organized and efficient; able to manage time and meet tight deadlines. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $117,400 and $176,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
