Children's Ski School Front Desk Associate Lead
Angel Fire Resort is looking for an enthusiastic Children's Ski School Front Desk Associate Lead to join our team this winter. The Children's Ski School Front Desk Associate Lead will have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge about our Children's Ski School programs, coordinating the check-in activities of the children's ski school program, and selling children's ski school packages, rentals, lessons, lift tickets, and retail items. This position will provide operational support to the supervisors and managers of Children's Ski School- including the oversight of all Children's Ski School Front Desk Staff. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, will work well in a demanding environment, and will share our passion of excellence.
Base Pay:
Starts at $16/hr per hour depending on experience (plus free lunch!) Location:

Attendance:
Reliable, predictable, punctual and in-person attendance is an essential function of this job. Due to the resort nature of our business, applicants should expect to work weekends and holidays. Estimated start date:

This is a mostly indoor position. Must be able to stand and talk for long periods of time, and occasionally lift/carry 30lbs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following:
(other duties may be assigned) Helps with scheduling of cashiers based on projected daily business levels. Prepares the facility to receive children and parents for each day of scheduled operation. Meets parents and assists with lesson selection, the completion of lesson forms and student information forms. Answers questions concerning cost of items, hours of operation, products offered, age requirements, closures due to weather, etc. Provides information pertaining to hotel services; shopping, dining, resort activities, entertainment, and travel directions. Speaks with guests by phone to guide lesson and retail purchases. Stays educated on all of the lessons offered, products available, restrictions, requirements, and prices so as to meet the individual needs of the guest. Ensures that patrons complete the appropriate releases of liability. Performs all cash, credit and debit-ware collections, and provides guest with confirmation of reservation. Operates the computer sales system to facilitate the sale of items requested by patrons. Uses ticket dispensing machine that automatically prints number of tickets requested by patron and hands ticket to patron. Organizes all paperwork for both new and returning students. Coordinates Reservations fulfilled through Mountain Reservations as well as take new reservations within the 48-hour window. Assists in the process of returning students: end of day check-in and returning equipment Helps monitor doors to ensure children are under supervision at all times. Cleans and vacuum floor before leaving for the day and stocks retail items such as gloves, hats, sunscreen, gators, etc. Shovels snow and picks up trash around the ski school building. Monitors Angel Fire Resort web site on a regular basis to be continually informed of mountain conditions, activities, and events. Other associated tasks & duties as assigned.
