Emergency Medicine Physician – Intermittent provider
The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) seeks an emergency medicine physician to join our team of 15 physicians as an intermittent provider at the Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) in Anchorage, Alaska. As a 182-bed Level II Trauma Center, ANMC serves as the tertiary referral center for Alaska Native and American Indian people across the state. With over 30 specialties, we provide a full complement of acute medical and primary care services. Our unique patient population, breathtaking geography and cohesive team make this a one-of-a-kind practice opportunity!
Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage adult and pediatric emergency department patients in a 30-bed ED (approximately 28,000 visits per year).
Lead a collegial team of ER physicians and PAs.
Work Schedule Intermittent 10-hour shifts.
Qualifications
Completion of an ACGME/AOA-approved residency in Emergency Medicine.
Board Eligible/Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (BE/BC).
Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.
