Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for adults and children. Review medication prescriptions and implement various therapeutic modalities. Collaborate with counselors and therapists to support patients' mental health journeys. Participate in treatment planning, reviews, and ongoing communication with the treatment team and patients. Understand mental health laws and connect patients with community resources. Qualifications
MD/DO degree with approved psychiatry residency. Current medical license in Alabama. Experience with treating severely mentally ill and substance abuse patients. Knowledge of mental health laws and community resources. Willingness to learn electronic medical records systems. Excellent communication skills and empathetic listening. Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available). Additional Information
Flexible scheduling with the ability to see 15-25 patients daily. Competitive salary range: $100,000 - $400,000 per year. Entry-level position, part-time employment.
