Overview
The Mount Sinai Health System is currently seeking a full-time Hematology-Oncology Physician to join its thriving practice in the East Midwood section of Brooklyn, NY. Mount Sinai Brooklyn Hospital serves patients from neighborhoods including Midwood, Madison, Marine Park, Mill Basin, East Flatbush, Flatlands, Canarsie, Brighton Beach, and Sheepshead Bay. Candidates will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and satisfaction.
The ideal candidates will have a passion for Medical Oncology and be fully committed to the mission of Mount Sinai Health System. The chosen candidates will have the opportunity to partner with the world-renowned Icahn School of Medicine. Mount Sinai’s Department of Hematology/Oncology is strongly committed to caring for the whole patient with a patient-centered approach. The division embraces the mission of Icahn School of Medicine by pursuing an integrated approach to patient care, research, and education. Responsibilities
Work with a variety of specialties including primary care, cardiology, specialty care, women’s health services (OB/GYN), endocrinology, and more
Provide comprehensive medical care with on-site lab and imaging services
Maintain an excellent primary care referral base with an established patient panel on day one
Serve a diverse population and reside in a desirable neighborhood with good school districts
Collaborate with Mount Sinai Heart and access world-class cardiac and surgical care
Benefit from educational, research, and clinical programs of a nationally ranked Medical School

Qualifications
Medical Degree from an Accredited University
New York Medical License
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
Committed to Mount Sinai and the communities we serve
Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System
Compensation range from 300K to 425K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need.
