Anesthesiologist – OSF St. Anthony Medical Center – Part Time (No Call)

Overview OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center is a designated Level I trauma center. The nonprofit Catholic hospital serves the diverse community of Rockford, IL. Outstanding surgeons and support staff work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department
Provide medical management of patients undergoing anesthesia for surgery and other procedures
Perform pre-anesthesia assessment and obtain/verify patient consent
Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitor patient’s physiological condition and intervene as needed
Qualifications
M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
ECFMG and FLEX (if applicable)
Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia
Currently licensed as a physician
Position Details
Location: Rockford, IL
Schedule: Flexible; 3, 4, or 5 days per week for 30–36 weeks per year
Benefits: Full health insurance and retirement benefits; 401(k); profit sharing
Call: Light to no call options
