Join our team as we transform the lives of others.**Position Summary:**Reporting to the Senior Director, Commercial Training, the Associate Commercial Training Director plays a pivotal role in designing, delivering, and optimizing training initiatives that support the Commercial organization. This role is responsible for developing product, disease state, competitive landscape, and skills training for field employees across Sales, Market Access, and Endocrinology Clinical Educators. The Associate Director will plan, implement and facilitate New Hire Training (NHT), support launch readiness, manage the sales enablement platform, and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Leadership, Medical Affairs, Learning & Development (L&D), Human Resources (HR), and other stakeholders to ensure impactful learning experiences.**Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:**These may include but are not limited to:* Design and deliver engaging training content including learning modules, workshops, and virtual sessions for new hires and ongoing development.* Lead planning, organization, and facilitation of New Hire Training (NHT) and ad-hoc training programs.* Continuously enhance training programs to support onboarding, professional growth, leadership development, and long-term performance.* Apply adult learning principles and innovative methods to create differentiated training experiences.* Develop curricula covering anatomy, disease state, product knowledge, reimbursement, selling skills, and leadership topics.* Support launch readiness initiatives and contribute to commercial success through targeted training programs.* Manage the sales enablement platform, including usage tracking and content updates.* Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of training materials and adherence to project timelines.* Ensure all training content complies with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) standards.* Track and report training outcomes and metrics; recommend enhancements based on feedback and performance.* Conduct field rides to assess training effectiveness and gather best practices from the field.* Assist in planning and facilitating training content for national and regional sales meetings, product launches, and leadership workshops.* Perform other duties as assigned.**Education and Experience:**Required:* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, or related field.* 12 years of relevant experience in sales, commercial operations, or training within healthcare/pharmaceuticals.* Strong clinical acumen, particularly in rare disease therapeutic areas.* Proven success in aligning training with strategic business goals.* Experience in instructional design, facilitation, and program delivery.* Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder influence skills.* Strong project management and organizational capabilities.* Familiarity with MLR systems such as Veeva PromoMats.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and LMS platforms.* Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Preferred:* Master’s degree, MBA, or advanced science/medical degree.* Experience in both start-up and established biopharmaceutical environments.* Commercial launch experience.**Physical Demands and Work Environment:**Physical Activities: On a continuous basis, sit at desk for a long period of time; intermittently answer telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means. Some walking and lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required. The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions and responsibilities of this job.
