serves adolescents, adults, and seniors who are struggling with behavioral health concerns. With 150 beds and a full continuum of care, we help our patients make sustained progress toward better health throughout their time at our serene, 20-acre main campus in St. Charles, Missouri. We are seeking a Full Time Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our team. Our Levels Of Care Are Separated By Age Group Adolescents (ages 12-17): Inpatient mental health treatment, detoxification, dual diagnosis treatment, residential treatment for substance use disorders Adults (age 18 and older): Inpatient treatment, partial hospitalization program (PHP), and intensive outpatient program (IOP) for mental health disorders; detoxification; residential treatment for substance use disorders Senior adults (no age limit): Inpatient mental health stabilization, detoxification, and medication stabilization for dementia Overview Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses through a combination of personal counseling (psychotherapy), psychoanalysis, hospitalization and/or medication. Summary Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility. Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures. Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations. Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders. Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications. Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner. Maintain confidential documentation, compliance and billing in accordance with the policy and procedures. Qualifications Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required. One or more years’ post graduate degree practice preferred. Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate. Licenses/Certifications Board certified in psychiatry Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.
