The Translational Health Research Center (THRC) at Texas State University facilitates applied research and events through partnerships with TXST faculty, staff, and students, businesses, community members, nonprofits, and government organizations. THRC is currently seeking a new Research Analyst to lead program assessment and the compliance of programs involving data monitoring, collection and quantitative data analysis and reporting. Remote/hybrid work as negotiated is optional. Normal work hours are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Job Duties

Design program assessment Monitor the compliance of programs regarding legal and university requirements for research data, collection and security Perform data collection and quantitative data analysis Manage data files for reporting purposes Produce program assessment reports via presentations Use data management software such as SPSS, R Integration Package, Qualtrics and LMS database management Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications

Master’s Degree Knowledge of research methodology including quantitative methods Knowledge of statistics to perform data analysis Ability to develop surveys, graphs, data visualizations Experience using SPSS, R Integration Package, Qualtrics and/or LMS database management Demonstrated ability to manage data files utilized for reporting purposes Demonstrated ability to effectively work independently, and as a member of a team Effective professional communication skills Preferred Qualifications
