Position Overview The

Manager of Financial Reporting

is responsible for leading the preparation, review, and delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. This role will oversee the external reporting process, support financial statement audits, and provide insights to senior leadership. The manager will directly supervise two analysts, ensuring high-quality work, professional growth, and collaboration within the reporting team. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Compliance

Manage the preparation and review of quarterly and annual consolidated financial reporting. Oversee the accuracy of financial statement footnote disclosures. Prepare management’s disclosure and analysis section within consolidated financial statements, including the calculation and disclosure of certain non-GAAP metrics such as adjusted EBITDA. Coordinate external financial statements audits, responding to requests and ensuring timely completion. Support the preparation of quarterly earnings releases, including review of earnings call materials, in partnership with Investor Relations and senior leadership. Manage the preparation and review of annual external financial reporting for select subsidiaries and the company’s 401(k) benefit plan.

Leadership & Team Management

Supervise, mentor, and develop two direct reports, providing coaching and performance feedback. Allocate responsibilities, ensure timeline deliverables, review work for accuracy, and foster a culture of accountability. Support team development through training, knowledge sharing, and career growth opportunities.

Process Improvement & Internal Controls

Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve efficiency. Maintain and enhance the accounting policy manual and ensure compliance with internal controls over financial reporting. Partner with cross-functional teams (Accounting, Investor Relations, FP&A, Treasury, Tax) to improve data integrity and reporting accuracy.

Strategic Support & Analysis

Provide analysis and insights into financial results for management and executive decision-making. Assist with ad hoc projects, technical accounting research, and implementation of new accounting standards. Support system upgrades and reporting tool enhancements.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent required. Experience:

5-6 years in Public Accounting, Big4 preferred, or 3-4 years in Public Accounting and 1-2 years in corporate financial reporting Strong technical accounting knowledge (US GAAP required, IFRS a plus). Prior experience with financial reporting systems (e.g., Workiva or similar).

Skills:

Excellent leadership and people management skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. Effective communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to explain complex topics clearly. High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
