St. Charles Health System is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Rheumatologist to join our comprehensive and collaborative care team in Bend, Oregon. Position Highlights Full-time position with a minimum of 40 hours per week Practice based primarily in Bend, Oregon, with potential outreach locations as needed Participate in shared clinic call coverage with fellow Rheumatologists Treat a wide range of rheumatic conditions in both outpatient and occasional inpatient consult settings Work alongside experienced colleagues, infusion services, imaging (DEXA, ultrasound), and supportive specialists What You’ll Do Diagnose, treat, and manage patients with rheumatologic diseases using evidence-based, patient-centered care Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory testing Provide infusion care and joint injections in a modern clinical setting Collaborate with referring providers, primary care, and other specialties to ensure seamless care coordination Educate patients and families on treatment options, health maintenance, and chronic disease management Document all care in our integrated Epic EMR system in a timely and compliant manner Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives Engage in ongoing CME to maintain licensure, board certification, and clinical excellence Education Graduate of an accredited medical school Completion of an accredited Rheumatology fellowship program Licensure and Certification MD or DO with current Oregon medical license (or ability to obtain) Board certified or eligible in Rheumatology Valid DEA license Current BLS and ACLS certification Unrestricted ability to participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs Experience Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient and hospital Rheumatology practice required 5+ years of active clinical experience preferred Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (Epic experience preferred) Strong communication, collaboration, and patient engagement skills Why St. Charles Health System?
